When a neighbor is in crisis — facing eviction, without a winter coat, unable to buy bus fare, fleeing domestic violence — Widows Oil responds. Not as an emergency dispatch service, but as a neighbor who shows up.
In 2025 we put together over 1,000 hygiene and cleaning supply kits. Blessing bags for neighbors experiencing homelessness. Winter coats for people without shelter. Bus tickets. Help with a utility bill or a month’s rent. Clothing for veterans. And when a woman needed a quiet connection to domestic violence resources, we were careful about it.
That is the work. Whatever the need is, we try to meet it.
We do not ask people to prove they deserve help. We trust that they would not ask if they did not need it.
